Gold Systems has extensive experience and subject matter expertise within the public health and human services sector. We have collaborated with several Montana agencies to develop an integrated case management system to track the special needs population. This system integrates the Montana birth defects registry, newborn hearing screening, and newborn metabolic screening with follow-up services provided by Children with Special Healthcare Needs and the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind. In addition, we have built a day care compliance and provider reimbursement system for the Montana Child and Adult Care Food program, as well as a laboratory billing system for public and environmental health agencies.
Child Health Referral Information System: Integrated Case Management
Under the direction of the Montana Maternal Child Health (MCH) and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) we have developed an integrated system for child resource, referral and healthcare tracking. The CHRIS system is used by the, the Montana Birth Defect Registry, the Montana Newborn Hearing and Metabolic Screening programs and the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind.
Laboratory Information Management System: Laboratory Services Bureau
Gold Systems has collaborated with the State of Montana Laboratory Services Bureau for the past 15 years to develop a laboratory billing system that would interface with their clinical and environmental sample processing systems, as well as the DPHHS fiscal system. In 2004, Gold Systems worked closely with lab personnel to perform a gap analysis, document the new process flow and design a system that would provide users with a web-based application.
Montana Child and Adult Care Food Program Compliance and Tracking
For nearly two decades, Gold Systems has worked with the Montana Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to develop and maintain a claims processing system that has repeatedly been commended for accuracy of reporting. The new CACFP web system, funded by the USDA, includes a Compliance module to track the outcome of site reviews and to manage applications. With the completion of the Compliance module and electronic claims processing, CACFP is now a paperless agency.
