Our motives and business practices should be transparent to clients and employees alike.
If an activity is in question, we will openly and honestly discuss it and, if necessary, will alter it. We understand
that our reputation is our most valuable asset and the best way to maintain it is to always honor this commitment.
Our services and expertise help preserve our nation's rivers and streams, manage responses to
catastrophic disasters, track the source of birth defects, provide health and human services for families across
the country, and deliver online training to businesses small and large that are so critical to our nation's economy.
Although we're not always recognized for it, our products improve the lives of those that they serve.
We continuously evaluate and challenge the nature of our work.
We focus on opportunities that we can be passionate about and seek projects that are
not only morally defensible but contribute to society in a positive way.
We genuinely care about the success of our clients and their projects. Our clients hire us
because of the challenges of managing and solving complex problems. Sharing challenges with individuals outside
their organization takes a lot of trust. We will not betray or take advantage of this trust. Central components
of our client relationship management strategy are:
1 - Collaboration is key to the way we do business
2 - We honor our commitments
3 - We are passionate about our clients' businesses
4 - You can't put a price on experience
In addition to seeking out socially responsible projects, we also make an effort to
support our local businesses and charitable organizations. Each year, our staff are given the opportunity to
donate towards charitable organizations of their choosing, reimbursed by the company. We provide our water
quality software AWQMS to the volunteer community at our cost and donate an online learning portal to the
Ascend Alliance for use in their humanitarian efforts.
A consistent revenue stream is one of the most important elements of an organization's stability.
Profitability is central to our ability to hire and retain quality staff and to provide them with appropriate equipment,
an excellent work environment, and competitive benefits. Long-term vision and strategy execution are easier in a stable environment.
These things, in turn, allow us to provide superior service to our clients, thereby maximizing their investment.
Steve Gold
Founded Gold Systems in 1989 in Park City, Utah to design, develop, and
deploy complex automation systems.
Meet the Founder
Steve, a talented software developer and entrepreneur had become disillusioned with
the indifferent and sometimes deceptive approach of the IT consulting industry and was
anxious to provide clients the service, honesty, and the products that the client paid for.
Gold Systems focused on clients in the public sector and naturally gravitated towards projects of
social significance. These included projects in the areas of vital records, environmental data
management and health and human services.
